The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in Oyo State, Hon. Toyin Balogun, has expressed heartfelt condolences to Mr. Ademola Babalola, the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), following the passing of his mother, Wulemotu Aweni Babalola.
In a statement, Hon. Balogun expressed her sorrow over the loss, recognising the profound impact a mother has on her family.
”I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear brother;Mr Demola Babalola’s earthly anchor;Mama Wulemotu. Her legacy of love and support will continue to resonate in the lives of her children and the community she touched.”
“Mama Wulemotu Aweni Babalola will be remembered as a pillar of strength and wisdom, known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her contributions to the community.”
Hon. Balogun emphasised the importance of unity in times of grief, urging community members to come together in support of the Babalola family.
”Let us honour Mama Wulemotu’s memory by showing compassion and solidarity during this difficult time. Her spirit will live on in the values she instilled in her children and the many lives she influenced.”
The commissioner, however, assured the Babalola family of her support and that of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, highlighting the need for collective strength in moments of mourning.
She also prayed for Allah(SWT) to not only grant our dear mother Aljanst Firdausi, she also prayed for fortitude to enable the entire family bear this irreparable loss
