The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has congratulated Pastor Akin Alamu, Mr. Elijah Kolawole Akanmu and Mr. Ibrahim Abayomi on their appointments into various positions by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde.
Governor Seyi Makinde, on Friday, September 25, 2026, announced the appointment of Pastor Akin Alamu, immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, as a member of the Oyo State Elders’ Council.
The Governor also appointed Mr. Elijah Kolawole Akanmu as Special Adviser on Housing and a member of the Board of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, while Mr. Ibrahim Abayomi was appointed Executive Assistant on Works.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. Sanda described the appointments as another demonstration of Governor Makinde’s confidence in the capacity, experience and commitment of the appointees to contribute meaningfully to the development of Oyo State.
He congratulated the newly appointed officials, noting that their appointments provide another opportunity for them to deploy their wealth of experience, wisdom and dedication to the service of the state.
The council chairman charged the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor by embracing the responsibilities of their respective offices with diligence, humility, dedication and a strong sense of public service.
Hon. Sanda further prayed that God would grant the newly appointed officials wisdom, strength and the right leadership disposition to excel in their respective assignments and contribute to the continued development and progress of Oyo State.
