The Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government, Hon. Gbenga Akinola, has commended the overwhelming turnout of party faithful and supporters during the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Statewide Thank You Tour in the Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal Constituency, describing it as a clear demonstration of the party’s growing popularity and acceptance across Oyo State.
Hon. Akinola made the remarks on Thursday while receiving the APM governorship candidate, Hon. Abimbola (Bimbo) Adekanmbi, alongside his running mate, Engr. Muftau Open-Salawu, during the party’s Thank You Tour to Saki West Local Government.
He expressed appreciation to party members, stakeholders, youths, women, and residents for the impressive reception accorded to the APM leadership, noting that the massive attendance reflected the confidence of the people in the party’s vision and leadership.
According to him, the statewide tour has further strengthened the bond between the party leadership and the grassroots, while also energising members ahead of future political engagements.
Hon. Akinola reaffirmed the commitment of the Saki West chapter of the APM to the party’s ideals, assuring Hon. Adekanmbi and his team of continued support and unwavering loyalty.
