As the sun rises on a new academic term, the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Akinwole Akinleye, has extended a warm welcome to students returning to school for the Third Academic Term of the 2025/26 Academic session.

In a welcome back to school message made available to the public through his Chief Media Aide, Ogundipe Miracle, Hon Akinwole Akinleye emphasized the importance of education as a pathway to success and personal development. His message resonated to both students, parents and Educators, setting a positive tone for the term ahead.

In his words he said,

“As we commence the Third Academic Term of the 2025/2026 Academic session, I warmly welcome all our students and Teachers back to school. This new term is a fresh opportunity to refocus, work harder, and move closer to your dreams. Education remains a powerful tool for personal growth and future success, and I encourage you all to approach your studies with renewed determination and purpose.

I recognize that the previous term came with its own challenges, but I am proud of the resilience and strength displayed by both our students and teachers. Your ability to stay committed despite difficulties is truly commendable. As you begin this new term, I urge you to carry forward that same spirit of perseverance, remain diligent, and stay fully dedicated to your academic pursuits.

I also want to stress that achieving success is a shared responsibility. Parents and guardians must continue to support their children by providing a conducive environment for learning at home, while our teachers must remain committed to shaping young minds through dedication, mentorship, and innovative teaching approaches. Together, we can build a strong and supportive system that enables our students to excel both academically and morally.

Furthermore, I encourage all students to take full advantage of the various educational programs and initiatives provided by the Government. These opportunities are carefully designed to enhance your learning experience and prepare you for a brighter future. Make the most of them, because every effort you invest today will yield great rewards tomorrow.

As we journey through this term, I urge you all to stay focused, disciplined, and determined. Success may not always come easily, but with hard work, consistency, and the right mindset, you will overcome every obstacle. I wish you all a productive, fulfilling, and successful Third Academic Term. Strive for excellence in all that you do.”

E-Signed
Hon Akinwole Akinleye
Executive Chairman, Akinyele Local Government
