The Resogo Charity Foundation is gearing up for its 5th-anniversary celebration, which will be held on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. The day will be dedicated to giving back to the Ibadan community through a series of outreach programs.
The festivities kick off at 6:30 am with a feeding program aimed at providing meals to 300 underprivileged individuals. Food distribution will take place at two locations: Sabo Center (6:30 am – 7:00 am) and Oja Oba Central Mosque (7:10 am – 7:45 am).
Visiting Homes in Need
Following the feeding program, the foundation will visit several care homes within Ibadan Metropolis throughout the morning. Scheduled visits include:
* Lawal Handicap Home, off Ring Road, Ibadan (9:00 am – 10:00 am)
* Oyiza Orphanage Home, Oke Ado, Ibadan (10:00 am – 11:00 am)
* ABC Foundation, Eruwa-Ologuneru Road, Ologuneru, Ibadan (12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)
* Ibadan Motherless Babies Home, Total Garden, Ibadan (1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)
* TOTAL PARENTAL GUARDIAN ORPHANAGE HOME, behind MTN office Mobil Ring Road (2:00 pm – 2:45 pm)
Special Donations and Empowerment
The afternoon will see the Resogo Charity Foundation host a special event at the PDG ADELEKUN SEMINAR ROOM, ROTARY CLUB OF IBADAN, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. During this ceremony, the foundation will:
* Donate educational items and scholarships to five tertiary institution students.
* Empower ten widows.
