Residents Laud Ido LG Chairman Over Rehabilitation of Akufo Roads

Residents and community leaders in Akufo Ward 2 of Ido Local Government Area have commended the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, for the rehabilitation of Aba Oni Road and Araro Igbona Road.

The community leaders and the landlords’ association expressed appreciation to the council chairman for the intervention, noting that the rehabilitation has significantly improved mobility and eased movement for residents and commuters who ply the roads daily.

They described the development as a welcome relief, stating that the roads had previously posed challenges to motorists and residents, especially during adverse weather conditions.

According to them, the rehabilitation work has not only enhanced accessibility within the community but has also contributed to improving the overall living conditions of people in the area.

The residents further commended Hon. Adeojo for his responsiveness to the needs of the people, adding that the project reflects the commitment of the local government administration to grassroots development.

They also urged the chairman to sustain efforts in providing more infrastructural projects that will continue to improve the welfare of residents across communities in Ido Local Government.
