Remi Oseni: Poor Representation Has Brought Hardship to the Masses — Abiodun Emmanuel

After several appeal letters to Hon. Remi Oseni, the member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Roads Agency, the people of Ido Local Government Area, Omi Adio, and surrounding communities are still waiting for intervention on the deplorable condition of the Jiboye–Lade Owo–Abeokuta Road.

The road has become a death trap for motorists, commuters, and residents. Its terrible condition has caused untold hardship, with many homeowners and tenants forced to sleep outside their homes whenever it rains due to flooding and poor accessibility.

We therefore appeal to all political office holders from Ido Local Government Area—at the federal, state, and local levels—to put aside party differences and work together to address this urgent challenge and save lives.

We also call on the Oyo State Government to take immediate steps to rehabilitate the road. With collective commitment and sincere intervention from all stakeholders, we believe reconstruction work can commence within days.

Our people deserve safe and motorable roads. We urge those in positions of authority to act now before more lives are lost and properties destroyed.
