The Osi Bashorun of Ibadan land, PRINCE(Dr) Azeez ADEWOLU GBADEGESIN Popoola Adeduntan -ONISILE,on Sunday joined the wife of the former Oyo State Governor, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi and top Islamic clerics and scholars to break fast..

Adeduntan in his remark commended the effort of the late Governor during his tenure for turning the state into an enviable standard.

He stated that as commissioner Of health under Ajimobi’s administration, the late Governor allowed a free and transparent running of his ministry throughout his time with breath taking achievements exemplified
by the STATE health insurance scheme now being anjoyed by alll residents of OYO state regardless of class ,tribe,ethnicity,or creed.

Osi Bashorun Adeduntan appreciated Chief Mrs Ajimobi for holding forth and continuous organisation of the iftar even after the passage of his husband.

He described her as a new political Amazon and rallypoint in the state which has endeared her to many people.

Emphasizing the importance of love and unity among adherents of different religions, Adeduntan stressed the role of Muslims in promoting peace, unity, and understanding in the society, noting that their actions and attitude should consistently reflect the values of compassion and tolerance taught by Islam.

He urged them to utilize the opportunity provided by the ongoing ramadan season to continue to pray for the development of the state and the country at large.

In her remark, the host, Chief Mrs Ajimobi thanked her guests,for honouring her and the Muslim faithfuls for their support since the demise of her husband.
