As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah, urging them to use the period for deep reflection, prayers, and acts of kindness towards fostering peace and prosperity in Nigeria.

Oloye Adegoke, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a time for spiritual rejuvenation, self-discipline, and devotion to Allah. He called on Muslims to embrace the virtues of tolerance, love, and unity while seeking divine intervention for the nation’s progress.

In his message, he said:

“Ramadan is a sacred period of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving. It is a time to reflect on our relationship with Allah and extend love and kindness to our neighbors. Let us seize this opportunity to pray for the peace, stability, and prosperity of our land, as well as for divine guidance for our leaders at all levels.”

Acknowledging the current economic challenges, the Solutions 93.9 FM Chairman encouraged Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithful, to remain steadfast in faith and uphold the principles of hard work and honesty. He also urged those in positions of authority to govern with justice, fairness, and compassion, ensuring that the welfare of the people remains a priority.

Furthermore, the President of Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC) Ibadan reiterated his commitment to community development and supporting initiatives that promote social welfare. He encouraged individuals to support the less privileged during Ramadan by providing food, clothing, and other essential needs, in line with the teachings of Islam.

As Muslims embark on the 30-day spiritual journey, Oloye Adegoke prayed for Allah’s mercy, blessings, and acceptance of their fasting and supplications. He also wished all adherents a peaceful and rewarding Ramadan.

“May Almighty Allah accept our ibadah, answer our prayers, and grant us all the strength to observe the fast in good health and peace. Ramadan Kareem to all Muslim Ummah!”
