As the holy month of Ramadan commences, I, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, extend my warmest greetings to the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria. May this sacred period bring us blessings, peace, and spiritual rejuvenation.
As we embark on this journey of fasting, prayer, and charity, let us remember the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness that Ramadan embodies. May our actions and deeds be guided by the principles of justice, equality, and love for one another.
I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and grants us forgiveness, guidance, and protection. May He also bless our leaders with wisdom, courage, and vision to steer our nation towards peace, prosperity, and greatness.
As we break our fasts and gather with family and friends, let us not forget the less privileged, the vulnerable, and the needy. Let us show them love, care, and support, and strive to make a positive impact in our communities.
