He noted that June 12 remains a significant symbol of the nation’s democratic journey and the sacrifices made by many patriots in the struggle for democratic rule.
Professor Akande called on leaders at all levels to continue working towards a more prosperous, peaceful, and inclusive Nigeria while encouraging citizens to actively participate in strengthening the country’s democratic institutions.
