In a poignant display of solidarity, the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion Mrs. Omowumi Oluwatoyin Balogun visited the victims of the recent explosion in Ibadan and its environs who were admitted at the University College Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department.

During her visit, Mrs. Omowumi Oluwatoyin Balogun met with survivors and families, offering words of comfort and reassurance.

She commended the Hospital’s emergency response team for their swift action and dedication in providing immediate care to the victims.

The University College Hospital’s Management under the leadership of Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo expressed her gratitude for the commissioner’s visit, stating that her presence brought comfort and hope to both the victims and the healthcare professionals working tirelessly to treat them.
