Notable distinguishes in Oyo State such as Oyo Commissioner Segun Olayiwola, Executive Chairman Akinwole Ayobami Akinleye, Oyo Lawmakers Hon Lekan Monsur Abiola, and Hon Kehinde Olatunde To Grace The Kingsway Health/Outreach Foundation (KIHOF) 6th Ramadan Lecture and Under-15 Qur’an Competition as part of their activities marking the holy month of Ramadan.

The event organized by Hafeez Amuda Kingsway, themed “An Islamic Perspective on Political Unity,” is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in front of Kingsway Pharmacy, Apapa, Moniya, Ibadan.
According to Kingsway, the annual lecture is aimed at promoting moral values, peaceful coexistence, and unity among political leaders and citizens, particularly in a period where collective harmony is essential for sustainable development.

The Guest Lecturer for this year’s edition is Alhaji (Imam) Isiaka Woleola, Chief Imam of State Hospital Central Mosque, Ogbomoso. He is expected to deliver a thought-provoking discourse on the role of Islam in fostering political unity, mutual respect, and responsible leadership.


Serving as the Spiritual Father of the Day is Sheikh Khalifa Abd. Rahmon Muhammad Jamiu Yusuf Balogun, Agbakin Fadeli Tijaniyat Ibariyah, Khalifa Khulafai of Oyo State.
The programme will also feature an Under-15 Qur’an Competition designed to encourage young Muslims to deepen their knowledge of the Qur’an and strengthen their spiritual growth.

Several prominent political and community leaders are billed to attend as Special Guests of Honour, including: Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke; Oyo State PDP Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Akeem Azeez; P. A. To The Governor, Deacon Adeoye Adekola; Chairman, BOTAVED, Hon Dayo Opatokun; Senatorial Chairman, Oyo North, Imam Abd Rasheed Abd Azeez; S. A. Islamic Affairs, Prof. Olusoji Adejumo; Ajirola of Ibadanland, Alhaji Wasiu Gaskiya, Alhaji Kasali Ajisafe, Alhaji Alimi Aremu, Mogaji Abass Oloko among others.

The foundation reaffirmed their commitment to using faith-based initiatives as tools for social cohesion and grassroots development.
The patrons of the foundation are Alhaji Mojeed Olalekan Salau; Borokini Ofaland and Alhaji Tommy; Chairman PMS Oyo State, who described the lecture as a platform to bridge divides and strengthen communal bonds.
Organisers emphasized that the event remains open to the general public, urging residents of Ibadan and its environs to participate actively in the lecture and support the young contestants in the Qur’an competition.
They noted that beyond spiritual upliftment, the 6th Ramadan Lecture is designed to reinforce unity, tolerance, and collective responsibility as guiding principles for political and social engagement in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
