Oyo State @50: Ibadan South West Constituency I House of Assembly Hopeful, Hon. Abiodun Baruwa (Barushi), Felicitates Gov. Seyi Makinde on Oyo State @50

The Ibadan South West Constituency I House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Abiodun Baruwa (Barushi), has extended warm felicitations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, and the good people of the state on the occasion of Oyo State’s 50th anniversary.

Hon. Baruwa described the Golden Jubilee as a moment of reflection on Oyo State’s rich history, resilience, and steady progress since its creation in 1976.

He commended Governor Makinde’s purposeful leadership, noting that the current administration has deepened good governance through people-centered policies, infrastructural renewal, improved security, educational reforms, and inclusive economic growth.

According to him, the pace-setting achievements recorded under Governor Makinde have positioned Oyo State as a model of responsible leadership and sustainable development in Nigeria.

Hon. Baruwa further urged residents to use the milestone to renew their commitment to unity, peace, and collective responsibility, stressing that the future of Oyo State depends on citizens working together to consolidate the gains of the last five decades.

He wished Governor Makinde continued strength and wisdom in steering the affairs of the state, while praying for greater prosperity, harmony, and progress for Oyo State in the years ahead.
