Oyo South: Okanlomo Oodua, Sanusi Congratulates Remi Oseni for Securing Senatorial Ticket 

Okanlomo of Odua, Dotun Sanusi, has congratulated Hon. Aderemi Oseni over his landslide victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election for Oyo South Senatorial District, describing the outcome as a clear indication of strong grassroots support.

Oseni, who represents Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and chairs the House Committee on the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), reportedly secured a sweeping victory across all 99 wards in the nine local government areas that make up the senatorial district.

The primary election, which party stakeholders described as peaceful and well-conducted, has sparked celebrations across Oyo South, with supporters hailing the outcome as a major boost for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a congratulatory message, Sanusi who doubles as the Bada Olubadan commended the ROCOF and JDS political groups for what he termed an overwhelming show of support for Oseni, noting that the result reflects the lawmaker’s broad acceptance among party members and the electorate.
