WA BI LAHI TAOFIQ!

Hon. Akeem Adeniyi Adeyemi, Member of the House of Representatives for Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West Federal Constituency, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Oyo State Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Lamidi Taofeek.

In a heartfelt message, Rt. Hon. Adeyemi described Dr. Taofeek as an invaluable ally, trusted friend and loyal supporter whose contributions to his political journey and the APC remain highly commendable.

He recalled that Dr. Taofeek served as an Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC) officer in Atiba Local Government in 2007, during which he declared him duly elected Chairman of Atiba Local Government. He also noted that Dr. Taofeek later served as Secretary of the Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) during his tenure as council chairman.

According to him, Dr. Taofeek has continued to demonstrate commitment, loyalty and exceptional leadership in his current role as Deputy Chairman of the APC in Oyo State, describing him as a great asset to his team and the party.

“As you celebrate another year of your life, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you long life, sound health, peace, happiness and greater accomplishments in all your endeavours.

“Long may you live in love, peace and happiness.”

The lawmaker further celebrated the celebrant as the man fondly called Alhaji Taofeek Skimeh, wishing him many more fruitful years in good health and continued service to humanity.
