The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has joined the league of stakeholders who are paying tributes to the late former governor of Oyo State, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo.
The PDP expressed its sadness over the passing of the former governor of Oyo State, Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo. The party said it is extremely saddened by the news of the former governor.
The Party described his death as a painful loss to the State and Nigeria at large. PDP said the erudite mathematician came to the world and made a huge impact.
In a statement released to the pressmen on Monday by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Party in the State, Mr. Ogunsina Micheal, he said the late former governor will be missed for his many invaluable contributions and interventions towards the development of Oyo State and the Nigeria at large.
The People’s Democratic Party said it takes consolation in the fact that the renowned mathematician lived an impactful life before God called him home.
Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo who served the State briefly as the State governor in 1983 died nine days to his ninetieth birthday.
