The Chairman of the Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has commiserated with the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Afia Construction $ Building Engineering Consultancy Ltd, Engr. Abduljeleel Adekunle Kareem over the death of his father, Alhaji Abdul Kareem Boladale Adanla who died on Sunday night at the age of 97 and had been buried the following day, Monday 10th March according to Islamic rite.

In the condolence message issued by Hon. Akeem Ige and made available to journalists, he disclosed that the deceased patriarch of the Adanla family, Alhaji Abdul Kareem Adanla lived a fulfilled and exemplary life as reflected in the life of the children he left behind that are doing well in their different field of endeavour.
According to him, “the deceased lived an exemplary life. He was a loving, caring, devoted community and religious leader. His legacy is a testament to the credible father he was. He made an enduring impact in the lives of others that had close contact with him and his children among whom is my very good brother, Engr. Abduljeleel Adekunle Kareem who is the Mogaji of the Adanla family and the Turaki Adinni of Oyo State.

It is my prayer that may Almighty Allah accept his return which happened in the holy month of Ramadan and admit him to Aljanat fridaous. May He grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.” The statement concluded.
