The lawmaker representing Ibadan Southwest Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly and the Deputy Chief Whip, Hon Yusuf Adebisi has commiserated with Oyo Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Ademola Babalola on the passing of his mother, Alhaja Wulemot Aweni Babalola.
Alhaja Wulemot passed away on Sunday at the age of 76 and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Adebisi, in a statement made available to newsmen through his special assistant on public affairs, Tope Eluyefa, expressed heartfelt sympathy to Comrade Babalola and his family, describing the loss of a mother as irreparable loss considering the love of mother to child .
Hon Yusuf noted that Alhaja Babalola’s nurturing spirit and commitment to her family have inspired many, providing a foundation of love that has impacted lives of countless individuals.
“Alhaja Wulemot Aweni Babalola will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and dedication to her family and people around her”.
He prayed that God grant the deceased eternal rest and the Babalola family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
In a related development, Taye Currency Organisation also expressed shock over the demise of Alhaja Wulemot Aweni Babalola, described the loss as one of natural incident that is inevitable.
The organisation through the group head and Chairman, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi, Currency who send a delegation to paid the condolence visit to Comrade Ademola Babalola, said he commiserate with Oyo NUJ, chairman and the entire Babalola family for the loss of the matriarch.
“I expressed a shock because Dembab is one of my dear brother we have been working together over a decade and as a chairman of the state forth estate of the realm, he has used his good office to protect our interest many times”, Taye Currency noted.
