Hon. Modiu Opeyemi Akande Alabamusa, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan Southeast Constituency 1, has felicitated the Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (South) and the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors of the People’s Democratic Institute, H.E. Amb. Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, on his birthday anniversary today.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen, Alabamusa, as he is fondly called, described Arapaja as “a father, leader par excellence,” and “a true democrat” who has dedicated his life to the service of humanity.
According to the lawmaker, “Ambassador Arapaja is a shining example of what it means to be a selfless leader.
His commitment to the development of our dear state and nation is unwavering, and his contributions to the growth of our party, the PDP, are immeasurable.”
He further noted that Arapaja’s remarkable honor and significant achievements in politics are a testament to his consistency and the democratic dividends he delivers directly to his people, earning him widespread recognition across the country.
Alabamusa prayed for Arapaja’s continued good health, wisdom, and strength to continue serving humanity.
“May this new year bring you joy, peace, and fulfillment,” he said.
Arapaja, a former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, has been a key figure in the state’s political landscape for many years.
