The Oyo State Government, in collaboration with the Federal Government, is set to host the Youth Opportunity Summit, a platform designed to empower young people with knowledge, skills, and access to opportunities. Themed “Leveraging Opportunities: Building a Future Ready Youth,” the summit will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and training sessions on topics such as entrepreneurship, leadership, and digital skills. Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration has also reiterated its commitment to empowering the youth, recognizing their crucial role in driving economic growth and development.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, revealed that the summit is part of the government’s efforts to unlock the potential of young people and provide them with the necessary tools, skills, and support to succeed.
