The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has paid a condolence visit to the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, over the passing of his wife, Olori Basirat Ajibola.
Governor Makinde, during the visit, commiserated with the revered monarch and his entire family, describing the loss as painful and a great vacuum.
The Governor prayed that Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and reposes the soul of the departed.
He said the state government shares in the grief of the Balogun of Ibadanland at this trying moment.
In his response, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola appreciated the Governor for finding time out of his busy schedule to personally commiserate with the family, praying that God continues to uphold his administration.
May God comfort the family and repose the soul of the departed. Amen.
