The Governorship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, alongside prominent party leaders and stakeholders, continued his statewide Thank You Tour with a visit to Oyo Federal Constituency, comprising Oyo East, Oyo West, Afijio and Atiba Local Government Areas.
The visit provided an opportunity to appreciate party faithful for their unwavering support, strengthen unity within the party, and engage stakeholders on the collective mission of delivering a greater and more prosperous Oyo State.
Addressing party members and supporters, Hon. Adekanmbi unveiled his vision for Omituntun 3.0, describing it as the next phase in Oyo State’s development journey. He explained that the agenda would build upon the achievements of Omituntun 1.0, which focused on accelerated development, and Omituntun 2.0, which emphasized sustainable development, while introducing renewed priorities in economic growth, quality education, social welfare, security, youth and women empowerment, and community-driven development initiatives designed to improve the lives of citizens across every part of the state.
Speaking on behalf of stakeholders from the four local government areas, Alhaji Maroof Akinwande (Oyo East), Alhaji Maroof Atilola (Oyo West), Chief Sunday Ogunlade (Afijio), and Hon. Oyeleke Idowu (Atiba) expressed confidence
in Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi’s leadership capacity and affirmed their commitment to mobilising massive grassroots support for the Allied People’s Movement. They unanimously pledged to work tirelessly to secure victory for Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, and all APM candidates
in the 2027 general elections, describing the party as the platform best positioned to sustain development and deliver inclusive governance across Oyo State and Nigeria.
