Oyo State Deputy Governor, Seyi Makinde, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission.

 

The Deputy Governor also congratulated other appointees, as contained in a letter signed by Chief of Staff, Segun Ogunwiyi.

 

In a congratulatory message on Tuesday, the Deputy Governor, described the appointment as well-deserved, citing their dedication to grassroots development, party loyalty, and service to the people of Oyo State.

 

He expressed confidence that Wolekanle and others would drive Governor Makinde’s vision of inclusive governance, rural development, and improved service delivery at the grassroots.

 

Barr. Lawal however thanked Governor Makinde for recognizing the appointees’ dedication and wished them success in their future endeavors.

 

He equally commended the Governor for making bold appointments that consolidate good governance and effective leadership across the state.

 

The Deputy Governor said, “I heartily congratulate Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole and others appointed to the Local Government Service Commission, as well as those appointed to the Pilgrims Welfare Board.
