The Executive Governor of Seyi Makinde has approved the sum of ₦153,500,000 as bursary allowances for law graduates in the 2025 academic batch in Oyo State.

According to official information, a total of 307 beneficiaries will receive ₦500,000 each under the scheme, making it one of the highest state-sponsored bursary packages for law graduates across the South-West region of Nigeria.

The disbursement process is being coordinated by the Oyo State Scholarship Board under the leadership of its Chairman, Rt. Hon. Atilola Moroof Olawale.

As part of the process, the board has scheduled a screening exercise for all eligible students. The screening will take place from Monday, April 27, 2026, to Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the board’s conference room located within the Ministry of Education, Secretariat, Ibadan. The exercise is expected to commence daily at 10:00 a.m.

Beneficiaries have been advised to appear at the screening venue with all required documents, as earlier communicated through their respective student union representatives.
