The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele has congratulated Engr. Muftau Open Salawu on his emergence as the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and running mate to Hon. Bimbo Adekanbi ahead of the 2027 gubernatorial election in Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Sanda described the announcement as a welcome development and a reflection of the party’s determination to build an inclusive and result-driven leadership structure for the state.
He stated that Engr. Salawu’s emergence demonstrates confidence in his capacity, experience, and commitment to public service, expressing optimism that the ticket would contribute positively to the political engagement and democratic process leading into the election season.
Sanda noted that the selection of a deputy governorship candidate is a strategic decision in every electoral process and commended the leadership of the party for what he described as a thoughtful and forward-looking choice.
