It was a glamorous event, as everyyouth NIGERIA hosted the maiden edition of the everyyouth in politics, governance and leadership awards, 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Hon Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, Member, Federal House of Representatives, Ibadan North West /South West Federal Constituency’s Media Team Bags the Media Team Of The Year Award.

Also the chairman of Ibadan North LG Council Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade – Person of the Year Award, the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Agency For Development, Hon. Prince Adebowale Falana- Agency Of The Year Award, S. A to the Executive Governor of Oyo State on Housing and Urban Development and Member of Oyo State Housing Cooperation, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle- EveryYouth Inspiration Award, Leader of the Ibadan South West Legislative Council, Hon. Adewale Adelodun- Leader Of The Year Award,
Oyo State project Monitoring & Evaluation, Hon. Abiodun Oluwaseun Laurel- Outstanding Performance Award, Secretary to the Local Government Council, Hon. Raphael Sunday Adebanjo- Above & Beyond Award, Hon. Bimbo Oladimeji – One To Watch Award, Hon. Segun Oydeji- Disability Right & Inclusion Award

Speaking during the welcome address , Mr Omisore Gbenga, the visionary /president of everyyouth NG stated that the world is gradually giving birth to the age of value oriented individuals.

He further said, when we speak of value oriented intellectuals, we mean those who seeks to use their intellectual prowess to establish certain values in our society. Those who have shown that true leadership is not just about power, but about purpose, integrity, and not just as individuals, but as role models for a generation that demands more from its leaders.

While celebrating the crème de la crème of the youth in politics, governance and leadership space, in his keynote address Alh. Akeem Azeez the Personal Assistant to the Executive Governor of Oyo State emphasis on the need for young and emerging leaders to thankful to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde for going young brilliant minds the opportunity to be a part of his government.

Also the chairman of the day – Hon. Fowokanmi Oluwafemi- Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South West Constituency (2) encouraged the audience to be more proactive in their political pursuit and to put God first.

The event ended with light refreshments to celebrate the day followed by a warm networking session.
