The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, has been honored with the Outstanding Personality Award by Pacesetters Magazine during the 2024 Pacesetters Lecture Series and Awards.
The prestigious event, held at Dapo Aderogba Hall, Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, also celebrated other notable figures from Lagelu, Ibadan South East, and Oluyole Local Governments, as well as representatives from Peculiar Constructions and Academy Suites.
Represented by his wife, Deaconess Oluwabunmi Kolapo, Dr. Glorious expressed gratitude to the event organizers and the public for recognizing his administration’s achievements in areas such as education, poverty alleviation, youth and women empowerment, health, security, and infrastructure development.
Highlighting the success of over 50 impactful projects and interventions, the Chairman dedicated the award to Almighty God, his principal and mentor, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the good people of Ona Ara Local Government.
The event organizer, Comrade Demola Babalola, commended Dr. Glorious for his grassroots development initiatives, especially his impressive record of 50 impactful projects within the first 100 days of his administration. He urged him to continue delivering transformative projects to elevate Ona Ara to greater heights.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Hon. Arinola Isiaq (Chief of Staff), Mr. Olanrewaju Olatunbosun (Director of Administration and General Services), Mrs. Christiana Adelu, Mrs. Ayinla, and many others.
