The Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland and newly installed Okanlomo Oodua, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has paid a warm and appreciative courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.

The visit, which took place at the Bodija residence of Olubadan, was a gesture of gratitude to the revered monarch for his fatherly support, guidance, and distinguished presence during Chief Sanusi’s official installation by the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Oba Babatunde Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, at the House of Oduduwa, Ile-Ife.

Chief Sanusi expressed profound appreciation to the Olubadan for leading eminent Ibadan High Chiefs and notable sons and daughters of the ancient city to witness the historic ceremony. He described the monarch’s presence as a great honour that further strengthened the bond between Ibadanland and the cradle of Yorubaland.

He reaffirmed his commitment to serving humanity, promoting unity, and advancing the collective interest of Yorubaland in line with the ideals of the prestigious title bestowed upon him.

The Olubadan, in his royal remarks, congratulated Chief Sanusi on the honour and prayed for greater wisdom, grace, and success as he undertakes responsibilities associated with the revered title of Okanlomo Oodua.

This visit further underscores the enduring relationship between the Ibadan traditional institution and the House of Oduduwa, symbolizing harmony, cultural pride, and shared heritage across Yorubaland.
