The Chairman of the Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation, Ambassador Engr. (Dr) David Olusegun Okanlawon has sent his greetings to the people and particularly the Muslims on the commencement of the Ramadan fasting.

Okanlawon who spoke through his Media and Publicity Aide, Adedokun Sunday Harshasha on Saturday admonished Muslim Faithfuls to make good use of the Holy Month, praying for the community, state, nation and our political leaders at all levels.

Addressing the people, he said, “I want to seize this opportunity to welcome everyone to the month of March 2025, which coincide with the Holy month of Ramadan, on this note I celebrate with all Muslim brethren witnessing the start of the Ramadan fast, it’s my prayer that Allah (S.A.W) will guide each and everyone of us, inspire us as we walk through this purity period.

“As one of the five pillars of Islam, Ramadan fast avails all Ummah a golden opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation and devotion through supplication and other acts of worship.

“Therefore, we must use this opportunity to pray fervently for our state and the nation, and particularly for our political office holders at all levels.

The growth of our community, state and nation is our collective efforts and pride, that’s why we must pay the sacrifice as we dedicate ourselves in this period of fasting to seek God’s guide at all levels. May our fasts be accepted. Wishing each and everyone the best in the month of March. Ramadan Kareem!” Okanlawon added.
