Ogunlade @59: Ogbomoso North Local Government Functionaries Celebrate Their Council Chairman

Functionaries of Ogbomoso North Local Government have joined well-wishers across the state to celebrate the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, as he clocks 59 years of age.

The celebration was led by the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Salawu Taofeek Adigun, who, on behalf of the appointees and elected officials, paid glowing tributes to the council’s number one citizen. The entourage included the Council Secretary, Leader of the House, Councillors, Chief of Staff, Supervisors, and Special Assistants, all united in celebrating their leader.

In a statement issued by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Taofeek Adigun described Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade as “an epitome of humility, leadership astuteness, and unparalleled mentorship.” He noted that the chairman is a teacher, a listener, and a leader who values every opinion, regardless of position or status.

“Hon. George is a leader who listens attentively and carries everyone along. He believes no voice is too small to be heard,” the Vice Chairman stated.

Also speaking, the Leader of the House, Hon. Olakunle Popoola, congratulated the chairman on the milestone, expressing pride in serving under his leadership. He described Hon. George as an honest, approachable, and transparent leader who does not hide from responsibility.

According to him, “Hon. George Ogunlade is a playful-minded but disciplined leader, very open and sincere. He ensures that everything works perfectly for all honourables and stakeholders under his administration.” He prayed for continued success and longevity in office for the chairman.

The Council Secretary, Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi (Omooseparo), also joined in celebrating the chairman, praising his integrity and capacity to lead. She affirmed that “the cap truly fits his head,” noting that Hon. George has justified the confidence reposed in him as chairman of the council.

Other functionaries of the local government equally congratulated the chairman on attaining the age of 59, offering prayers for long life, sound health, wisdom, and greater success as he continues to steer the affairs of Ogbomoso North Local Government.

The celebration reflects the unity, mutual respect, and confidence shared among the leadership of Ogbomoso North, as they celebrate a chairman widely regarded as a man of the people and a dependable leader.
