The Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaye Youth Wing, Ibadan branch, has conferred the Community Development and Leadership Icon Award on Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, popularly known as O MU YES, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government.
The recognition was presented during a ceremony held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the NUT Resources Centre, Samonda, Ibadan.
Hon. Akintayo, was ably represented by the Supervisory Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Habeeb. In his remarks, Hon. Habeeb expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the council chairman, noting that the honour was a testament to Akintayo’s unwavering commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, and effective leadership.
The organizers described the award as a recognition of Hon. Akintayo’s outstanding contributions to community growth, his dedication to public service, and his consistent support for initiatives aimed at fostering peace and progress in Oyo State.
