It was a bright and hopeful morning in Ogbomoso North as women from different communities gathered at the party house, their faces lit with anticipation. The atmosphere carried a sense of celebration—one that marked a new chapter of opportunity and growth.

The Ogbomoso North Secretary, Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi OMOOSEPARO had organized a remarkable empowerment program aimed at supporting women and selected beneficiaries across the local government area. Through the initiative, POS machines were distributed to help them kick-start or expand their small businesses, enabling greater financial independence and participation in the digital economy.

The program became a symbol of community growth and political dedication. Chairs and canopies filled the venue as dignitaries, party members, and community leaders arrived to show their support.

Among the distinguished guests present were the Ogbomoso North Local Government Chairman, Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade, the Party Chairman Hon. Sikiru Idowu, and the various women leaders who have long championed the cause of empowerment within the community.

Taking the stage, Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi OMOOSEPARO delivered a heartfelt speech. She congratulated all the beneficiaries and reminded them that the POS machines were not just tools—but seeds of opportunity.

“This is an opportunity and also a responsibility,” she said warmly.

“Use the POS machine wisely. Grow your business. Create value. Let this empowerment be a seed that will multiply and bless others around you. We believe in you, and we look forward to seeing success stories emerge from this initiative.”

Her words were met with applause as the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, some moved by the rare chance to improve their livelihoods.

Speaking next, Council Chairman Hon. George Gbadegesin Ogunlade praised the initiative and commended Hon. Bolanle Olaniyi for her dedication and leadership. He described her as “a true political gladiator and a pillar of progress in the party.” He congratulated all the beneficiaries and encouraged them to maximize the opportunity given.

The Party Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Idowu, also lent his voice, applauding Hon. Bolanle’s foresight and commitment to the welfare of women in the local government. He urged the recipients to remain focused and use the devices to uplift their families and communities.

As the event drew to a close, beneficiaries left the venue with broad smiles, clutching their new POS machines like keys to a brighter future. The empowerment program not only strengthened the economic backbone of Ogbomoso North but also reinforced a collective belief in community-driven development.

For many, this was more than just an event—it was the beginning of new possibilities.
