The Member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DoN, has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Sen.) Rasheed Adewolu Akanmu Ladoja, (AruSA I), on his official ascension today as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a goodwill message, Hon. Oyekunle described Oba Ladoja as a symbol of resilience, wisdom, and leadership whose enthronement ushers in a fresh chapter of peace, progress, and prosperity for the ancient city.
He noted that Ibadanland is blessed to have a monarch of Ladoja’s caliber whose wealth of experience as a statesman, administrator, and custodian of tradition will further strengthen unity and development among the people.
“Kabiyesi, your coronation as the 44th Olubadan is not just a historic milestone but also a divine blessing for Ibadanland. Your reign shall bring peace, honour, and renewed hope to our people. On behalf of my constituents in Ibadan North Federal Constituency, I join the good people of Ibadanland and Oyo State in celebrating this epochal moment,” Hon. Oyekunle said.
He prayed that Oba Ladoja’s reign would be long, prosperous, and impactful, bringing enduring progress to Ibadanland and Oyo State at large.
The coronation of Oba Ladoja, which will hold today in Ibadan, as drawn dignitaries from across Nigeria and beyond, underscoring the cultural and historical significance of the Olubadan stool.
