Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim faithful in Ibadanland, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir.

He acknowledged the grace and mercy of Allah in keeping the people alive through challenging times, and he urged all Muslims to celebrate with gratitude, humility, and a renewed spirit of faith.
Eid-El-Kabir is not just a time of celebration but a time to reflect on the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and devotion as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

The Otun Olubadan emphasized the need for Nigerians, especially the good people of Ibadanland, to embrace the deeper meaning of Eid by showing love, generosity, and kindness to one another, especially the less privileged.

He called on all citizens to use the celebration as an opportunity to give back to their communities, extend a helping hand to the needy, and foster a sense of brotherhood that transcends religion and tribe.

“Every great nation passes through trials,” he said, “but it is through unity, compassion, and steadfast faith that we emerge stronger.”
He reminded the people that Nigeria remains our only home, and as such, we all share a duty to protect its future through mutual respect, tolerance, and patriotism.

He also encouraged leaders at all levels to prioritize the welfare of the people.
Oba Ladoja prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) accept the worship and sacrifices of all Muslims during this sacred season. He expressed hope that the spirit of Eid-El-Kabir would inspire a renewed commitment to national unity, peace, and the pursuit of common good.
“May this festive season bring healing to our land, strength to our people, and blessings to our nation.
