His Royal Highness, Oba Kehinde Isiaka Bayonle Ojedokun (Ibitoye Oyekanmi II), the Onitabo of Itabo, on behalf of the good people and the Traditional Council of Itabo, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Oyo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ademola Obafemi Ojo, popularly known as “Ijaya,” as he celebrates his 64th birthday.
The traditional ruler described Hon. Ademola Ojo as a quintessential man of honour, astute administrator and dependable ally of grassroots development, whose contributions to the progress of Oyo State continue to earn him admiration across communities.
According to the Onitabo of Itabo, Commissioner Ojo’s life and public service have been marked by dedication, integrity and an unwavering commitment to the development of the state.
He noted that, as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Ojo has demonstrated visionary leadership, deep respect for traditional institutions and a strong passion for community advancement, thereby helping to strengthen the relationship between government and the grassroots.
The monarch further commended Ojo’s inclusive approach to leadership, which he said has contributed to peace, unity and harmony within chieftaincy institutions and local communities across Oyo State.
“Your tireless drive for excellence reflects a genuine love for the people of Ibarapa and Oyo State, as well as an unalloyed commitment to the vision of modern and people-oriented governance.
“We are immensely proud of your achievements and the dignified manner in which you represent the collective aspirations of our people,” the monarch said.
As Hon. Ademola Ojo marks his 64th birthday, Oba Ojedokun prayed that Almighty God would grant him abundant grace, wisdom, good health and strength to continue piloting the affairs of his office and contributing meaningfully to the development of Oyo State.
He wished the Commissioner many more years of fruitful service, greater accomplishments and continued impact on the people.
