The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has been honored as the best staff-friendly chairman by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Ido chapter.
The Union chairperson, Comrade Risqot Ojoye-Atere, said the award of honor is in appreciation of the humanitarian gesture of the chairman to the welfare and well-being of the staff.
She emphasized that Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo is the only chairman out of the four successive chairmen who have assisted the union in her struggle towards having a NULGE house.
While addressing the staff at the interfaith prayer, the council chairman tasked the staff of Ido local government to be alive to their responsibility by coming to work promptly to justify the love and welfare packages of Engr. Seyi Makinde led the administration to the civil servants in the state.
The chairman, in his New Year message during the interfaith prayer organized by the Ido local government, appreciated the flow of love between the executive and the legislative arms.
The council boss said development abounds in the atmosphere where there is love between all the strata of the government. He enjoined the legislative and the executive arms to continue living in peace and harmony to take Ido local government to a greater heights.
Equally, the Head of Local Government Administration, Ido local government, Mrs. Ige Olaronke Sarah, said the staff should be grateful for the friendly disposition of the Oyo state Governor with the approval granted for the conduct of promotion exercise for 2023 and 2024 promotion to all the civil servants in Oyo state.
