Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona Ara Local Government have reaffirmed their unwavering loyalty to the party and the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, stressing that the party remains united and cohesive across the local government.

The reaffirmation came during the monitoring of the ongoing PDP membership registration exercise across the eleven wards of Ona Ara Local Government.

Speaking during the exercise, the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, alongside the PDP Local Government Chairman, Alfa Kehinde Adeyemo, dismissed claims of any faction or parallel congress within the party in Ona Ara, emphasizing that the PDP in the council area remains one united and indivisible family.

They noted that party members across all wards have been actively participating in the ongoing continuous membership registration, describing the impressive turnout as a strong demonstration of the party’s unity, strength, and grassroots acceptance within the local government.

According to them, the leadership structure of the PDP in Ona Ara remains intact and firmly committed to supporting the administration and political direction of Governor Makinde.

“Our leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, has made it clear that we remain firmly rooted in the PDP. That is why both old and new members are turning out in large numbers to register across the eleven wards,” they said.

The stakeholders also encouraged party faithful and residents of Ona Ara Local Government who are yet to enroll to take advantage of the ongoing exercise, noting that the continuous registration offers an important opportunity to strengthen the party ahead of future political engagements.

They further reaffirmed that the PDP in Ona Ara Local Government remains united, disciplined, and resolute in its commitment to the progress of the party and the continued development of Oyo State under the leadership of Governor Makinde.
