As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, the lawmaker representing the good people of Oyo State, Hon. Babalola Abiodun PhD, has extended warm felicitations to citizens across the state and the nation at large.
In a goodwill message on Tuesday, Hon. Babalola commended the resilience and patriotic spirit of Nigerians despite prevailing socio-economic challenges. He particularly lauded the visionary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, noting that his administration has brought remarkable development, peace, and progress to Oyo State.
He described the 65th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence as a moment of reflection, urging the people to embrace unity, peace, and collective responsibility as the pathway to sustainable growth.
> “At 65, our dear country has gone through trials and triumphs, but we remain strong and determined. I call on the good people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s developmental strides and to work together for the peace and prosperity of our land,” Hon. Babalola said.
