The Ayedero of Yorubaland, Hon. Shina Peller, has explained how his father, late Professor Moshood Abiola Peller, played significant roles in his life journey as a successful businessman and individual.

Peller’s reflection came during a special prayer gathering held in Iseyin to commemorate the 28th anniversary of Professor Peller’s passing.

The event not only honored the memory of a renowned magician but also highlighted the values and wisdom he imparted to his family.

Speaking to journalists at the event, Shina Peller shared how his father shaped his understanding of business and creative thinking, adding that from an early age, he was exposed to various strategies that would eventually guide him in both his personal and professional life.

“My father taught me how to navigate the world,” Shina Peller recalled, emphasizing the importance of experience and mentorship in his growth.

He expressed joy that even 28 years after Professor Peller’s death, his legacy continues to thrive. “My dad lived a purposeful and fulfilled life,” he remarked.

Furthermore, the Oke Ogun-born businessman cum politician recalled that his late father was able to instill sense and spirit of perfection in him and his siblings.

“My father lived his talk by demonstrating to his children what he wanted of them,” he said.

He stressed further, “He advised us to strive for the best in whatever we do in life. He was a good example by being the greatest magician ever in Africa.”

Speaking at the event as the guest lecturer, Sheik Jamiu Sanusi (Ami Olohun), acknowledged Professor Peller’s invaluable contributions to the entertainment sector in Nigeria and African continent at large.

The Islamic cleric seized the opportunity to pray for the soul of the late magician, and urged his children and family members to remain united in keeping their father’s legacy alive.

Dignitaries at the event include Shina Peller’s successor at the House of Representatives, Hon. Najimdeen Oyeshina Oyedeji representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Iseyin Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Fadiran, popular socialite and businessman, Chief Rilwan Adisa Aleshinloye, and others.
