The Wife of Oyo State Governor, Engr.Tamunominini Makinde has urged women in leadership, business, Academia, and various industries to continue investing in the growth of younger generations.

Mrs Makinde stated this at the celebration of 50th Anniversary of Queen Idia Hall, marking five decades of nurturing accomplished women across the continent bof Africa.
Mrs Makinde who emphasized the importance of mentorship, role models, and collective responsibility in empowering the younger generation.

She praise the hall’s management for maintaining high standards, ensuring discipline, and promoting academic and professional development.
Mrs Makinde further acknowledged the hall’s accomplishments in various sectors, inspiring young women and producing super-executives.

She encouraged the young ladies residing in Queen Idia Hall to seize opportunities, work hard, and build meaningful relationships to achieve success.
In her remarks, The Warden of Queen Idia Hall, Dr. Olukunle Ezekiel acknowledged the contributions of Her Excellency, Engr. Tamunumini Makinde for her personal and professional achievements noting that her success stories are a testament to the strength, resilience, and hardwork instilled in her by the hall.
She emphasized the importance of collective action to ensure its future remains bright, highlighting the need for infrastructure upgrades, including refurbishing existing facilities and expanding resources to better serve students.
