As Ibadanland prepares to celebrate a double milestone, Mogaji Wasiu Adesola Ishola, the family head of Salako Compound, Opo Labiran, Ibadan, has extended warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja (Arusa I), the Olubadan of Ibadanland on his 81st birthday.
The royal father marks his 82nd birthday anniversary on Friday, September 25, followed by his historic first anniversary on the throne of his forebears on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of himself and the entire members of Salako Compound, Mogaji Ishola described the twin celebration as a monumental milestone, praising the monarch’s dedicated leadership and steady guidance over the past year.
According to him, “reaching this milestone in vibrant health and wisdom is a testament to divine grace. The past 365 days under Your Majesty’s reign have ushered in an era of peace, rapid development, and unity across Ibadanland.” Mogaji Ishola said.
Highlighting the Olubadan’s background as a seasoned administrator and former governor, the family head noted that Oba Ladoja’s leadership has brought dignity and modern progress to the ancient stool while upholding its rich cultural heritage.
He added that the people of Salako Compound in Opo Labiran take immense pride in celebrating a leader whose life remains a beacon of service and integrity.
Mogaji Ishola offered prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, long life, and wisdom, wishing him many more peaceful and prosperous years on the throne.
