Mayegun Babanumi Hails Oba Rashidi Ladoja on 81st Birthday

A prominent member of the Ajorosun Club, an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Mayegun Sunday Olusegun Babanumi, has joined family members, associates, and the entire Ibadanland to felicitate His Imperial Majesty, His Excellency Oba (Senator) Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja FNSE, ARUSA 1, the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 81st birthday.

In his congratulatory message, Mayegun Babanumi extolled the monarch as “a rare gift to Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria, whose life embodies resilience, wisdom, and undiluted commitment to public service and traditional institutions.”

He noted that Kabiyesi’s ascension to the Olubadan throne has brought renewed pride to Ibadan’s cultural heritage, while his 81 years on earth stand as a testimony of divine grace, courage, and a life of positive impact.

The PDP Chieftain added that Olubadan’s birthday is not only a celebration of age but also of enduring legacies as a statesman, administrator, cultural icon, and now the father of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria with Diaspora.
