In a show of respect and admiration, Hon. Chief Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as “OTOPE,” joined other well-wishers today to celebrate the birthday of His Eminence Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States.

Dr. Oladimeji, who serves as the Director General of the Oyo State Liaison Office in Lagos and Abuja and is a close aide to Governor Seyi Makinde, paid a courtesy visit to the esteemed Islamic leader in honor of his special day.
During the visit, Dr. Oladimeji, also the President of the OTOPE Foundation, extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes.

He commended Sheikh Agbotomokekere for his lifelong dedication to peace, unity, and spiritual leadership across Yorubaland and beyond.

He offered prayers for the Chief Imam’s continued strength, good health, and longevity, describing him as a spiritual beacon and a source of moral guidance.

“Your Eminence, your life is a beacon of wisdom, peace, and compassion. On behalf of the OTOPE Foundation and in my official capacity, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you more strength and many more years of divine service,” he stated.
The visit, held on the cleric’s birthday, was marked by heartfelt prayers, mutual respect, and a renewed commitment to supporting his efforts in fostering religious harmony and social unity.
