Organizers of the much-anticipated political concert that will definitely change the political status of the Pacesetter State, Boye Nation Concert, have announced that the event will now hold on Monday, September 21, 2026.
According to the organizing committee, the date change was made to accommodate a major political gathering planned for the day and to ensure better logistics and turnout. The event, which will parade more than 20 prominent musicians across all genres of music, will come up at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
The concert is expected to usher in decampees who are loyalists of the former Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu, from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Allied People’s Movement (APM).
The decampees are being led by the aide to the minister, Ajiboye Akande Sangogade, popularly known as Boye Nation.
This was disclosed during a media parley at the Jericho campaign office of the governorship candidate of APM, Mr. Bimbo Adekanbi, on Sunday.
The APM Chairman in Oyo State, Otunba Fagbemi Adegbenro, while welcoming the Boye Nation group, assured that the incoming government of APM in the state will form an inclusive government that will be dominated by vibrant youths across the state.
Adegbenro urged all support groups and the electorate to work hard and ensure that the party wins during the general election in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
Other members of the organizing team who spoke during the parley include Oyo APM spokesman, Michael Ogunsina; ace sports presenter, Babatunde Saheed (Mr. Sports); Ademola Adeeyo; Alhaji Oyewole Raji; and Damola Omiyale. They said that the concert will be a massive boost to the aspirations of all APM candidates in Oyo State, affirming that the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, will attend the event in person.
”This adjustment will allow us to deliver a world-class experience while also providing a platform to welcome the Boye Nation group into the APM family by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde.”
They expressed that the September 21 Boye Nation concert will build a stronger working relationship among the various stakeholders involved in the APM’s mobilisation efforts.
They disclosed that the collaboration of Ajiboye Sangogade (Boye Nation) alongside Otunba Seye Famojuro is to ensure undiluted success of the APM in Oyo State and the Nation at large, to ensure Engr. Seyi Makinde wins the presidential election in the country.
They urged media practitioners, journalists, and bloggers in attendance to give adequate coverage before, during, and after the concert, emphasizing that the concert is aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing the party’s political activities.
