Allowances for officers on patrol and pin-down duties have been provided, along with increments in ration allowances extended to all security agencies. Accommodation has also been provided for security commanders from agencies like NDLEA, NSCDC, and Nigeria Immigration.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State took a significant step towards enhancing security in the state by handing over 100 additional Kia Rio operational vehicles to security agencies on January 10, 2024.
These vehicles, equipped with cutting-edge communication gadgets, were distributed among various agencies, including the Police, Operation Burst, DSS, Correctional Service, Oyo Amotekun, and the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA)
This donation brings the total number of vehicles handed over to security agencies in Oyo State to 650, with 550 vehicles previously donated from 2019 onwards.
