The Lagelu Traditional Rulers Council on Tuesday paid a congratulatory visit to the Executive Chairman of the local government, Alh. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, following his emergence as the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for a second term in the forthcoming local government elections in Oyo State.
The traditional rulers, who turned out in large numbers for the visit, were led by the Vice Chairman of the council, His Royal Highness Oba Basiru Adesina, the Elejioku of Ejioku.
Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers, Oba Adesina expressed the full confidence of all traditional rulers in the Kamorudeen-led local administration. He described the return ticket given to the chairman by the APM as “a prayer answered” for all traditional rulers and the entire people of the local government.
The visit underscored the continued support of the traditional institution for the chairman’s leadership as the local government prepares for the 2026 local government elections.

The royal fathers also offered their blessings to the chairman, and used the occasion to reaffirm their support for his leadership, while expressing strong optimism about continued progress in Lagelu under his stewardship.
