Lagelu Councillors Pay Congratulatory Visit to AKT Over PDP Consensus Emergence.

The Councillors of Lagelu Local Government have paid a congratulatory visit to the lawmaker representing Lagelu State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Akintunde Emmanuel, popularly known as AKT, following his emergence as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the forthcoming 2027 general election.

The delegation, which comprised Councillors from all the 14 wards in Lagelu Local Government, was led by the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Idogbe Aduragbemi Emmanuel. The visit was in recognition of Hon. AKT’s unanimous emergence through a consensus arrangement recently adopted by party leaders and stakeholders across the local government.

The consensus decision, widely described as peaceful and strategic, reaffirmed the confidence of the party in Hon. AKT’s leadership capacity, performance, and continued commitment to grassroots development.
