Ibadan, Oyo State|

The executive chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen has extended his heartfelt congratulation to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, on his ascension as the 44th Olubadan and Paramount Ruler of Ibadan Kingdom. In a message that feels like a warm embrace from the community, the chairman hailed the revered monarch as a towering figure, a true “institution like no other,” whose reign promises to shine as a beacon of hope and unity.

With a voice full of pride and reverence, Hon. Kamorudeen spoke of the profound significance of this moment, not just for Ibadan but for all who cherish tradition and leadership rooted in service. “Kabiyesi, your ascension to the sacred Olubadan throne is a gift to us all,” he said, extending warm felicitations to both the monarch and the gracious Olori Mutiat Ladoja. “Today, we don’t just celebrate a king; we celebrate a father, a guide, and a symbol of our shared heritage.”

The chairman’s words carried the weight of a community’s hopes, as he prayed for Oba Ladoja to enjoy a long, healthy, and impactful reign. “May your years on the throne be many, blessed with strength and wisdom to lead Ibadan toward greater heights,” he said.
