The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen on Thursday conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing reconstruction project of the 1.34 km Wofun/Kute Road. This marks the Chairman’s second visit to the site since the project’s inception, emphasizing the local government’s focus on infrastructure and connectivity of the region.

During the inspection, the Chairman was accompanied by key officials of the local government administration, engineers overseeing the project, and community stakeholders. The team assessed the progress of the reconstruction, which aims to improve transport links and facilitate easier access for residents and businesses in the area.

In his address, the Chairman highlighted the importance of the project, stating its cruciality for promoting economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents. He emphasized that his administration is committed to ensuring that the project meets its timelines and serves its intended purpose.

The project is expected to address longstanding issues of road congestion and safety in the area. It includes enhancements such as better drainage systems, improved road surfaces, and updated signage, aimed at creating a more efficient transportation network.

The Chairman concluded the inspection by reaffirming the local government’s dedication to transparency and community involvement. He encouraged residents to remain engaged and share their feedbacks as the project progresses.
